bulletDAY 1:
Arrive at Piarco International Airport
Welcome transfer to hotel

bulletDAY 2:
Caroni Swamp and Bird Sanctuary - Lunch Included. A combined trip by car and boat into the Caroni Bird Sanctuary. You travel along mangrove lined channels observing the various species of Bird, Mammal and Marine Life and Vegetation. Among the species of bird to be seen are the Scarlet ibis, Egrets, White and Blue Herons and Spoonbills. You finally reach the Roosting Area where the Ibises and other birds descend on the mangrove vegetation for a most spectacular sight.

bulletDAY 3:
Visit to Asa Wright Nature Centre - Lunch included. An interesting and unique day's birdwatching in the heart of Trinidad's tropical rain forest at the ASA Wright Nature Centre. Walk the trails of the Centre looking at the profusion of birds and vegetation. A visit to the Oil Birds' Cave to see the famous Oil Bird. Visitors have the use of the Centre's library and telescope.

bulletDAY 4:
Wild Fowl Trust/La Vega Estate - Lunch included. Nestled deep within the Oil refinery at Point-a Pierre is a Wild Life Sanctuary which takes on the responsibility of keeping wild fowls that are facing extinction in Trinidad & Tobago. The Sanctuary houses some very rare birds such as the New Zealand Shelduck, Laysum Teal and Marble Teal.

Day at leisure
Optional: Shopping Tour.

bulletDAY 6:
Heights of Aripo - Lunch included. The highest mountain in Trinidad is the Cerro del Aripo rising to a height of three thousand and eighty two feet. The trails to the summit are noted for a variety of wild exotic flowers and birds of all hues. The pawee, a rare and beautiful bird, can be seen along the way.

bulletDAY 7:
Nariva Swamp - Lunch included. The largest swamp in Trinidad is the Nariva Swamp. Located on the south-eastern end of the island, it is noted for its variety of fresh water fish which colonize the area. There are many species of mangrove here and it is not uncommon to see crabs running along the inter-twining roots. It is also a haven for water birds such as the heron and the egret.

Transfer to airport for return flight home.
