The Travel
Centre, one of Trinidad and Tobago’s leading Travel
Management Companies was recently honoured by American
Airlines. At a workshop/seminar hosted by the airline at
the Trinidad Hilton on September 10th, and
attended by the country’s leading travel agencies, The
Travel Centre received recognition for their “IMPROVED
SALES PERFORMANCE – 2003”. This award was presented
based on the agency’s increase in sales 2003/2002 by over
140%.
According to The
Travel Centre’s Managing Director, Catherine de Gannes-Martin,
“Our record increase is attributed to the company’s
commitment to Service Excellence, our alliance with American
Express, and our support of American Airlines’ key
initiatives.” American Express Travel is the world’s
largest network of Travel Agencies, and The Travel Centre is
their local franchisee. In addition, The Travel Centre has
actively supported American Airlines’ drive towards greater
consumer satisfaction through e-ticketing, and the airline’s
newest product, Business Extraa where companies can earn
points towards travel rewards.
The Travel Centre is one of
the country’s most experienced travel and related service
providers. This, coupled with their American Express
affiliation, and its international network, places them in
the unique position to offer travel services and benefits
unmatched in the local market. For more information, please
