Interested in a brief overview of the man-made and natural landscape of Trinidad, then
this is the tour for you! Tropical splendour at its best - the tour commences with a drive
around the capital of Port of Spain and passes all the main points of interest; including
the President's House, Queen's Park Savannah, Botanical Gardens, House of Parliament and
shopping and residential areas. Then traverse one of the most beautiful areas in Trinidad
through picturesque mountain scenery over the "saddle" of the island's Northern
Range to Maracas Bay, a favourite and delightful beach. Return via the Saddle Drive, Santa
Cruz Valley, the village of San Juan and the Lady Young Road, which offers a wonderful
panorama of the whole city and the offshore islands.
CITY/PANYARD TOUR

This tour offers a combination of sightseeing around the city of Port of Spain passing
the main places of interest coupled with an introduction to steelband and its history.
This is definitely a unique experience and an opportunity to listen to the steelband in
its home - a panyard! Enjoy the sweet sound of pan, Trinidad's contribution to music ...
the only musical instrument invented this century ... like a native. Your mini concert
will include classics, contemporary and pop songs and of course, our calypso. Light
beverage refreshments provided.

CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA
4 Hours
Minimum: 50 pax / Maximum: 300 pax
For a delightful introduction to the "cultural callaloo" that is Trinidad and
Tobago, this is the tour for you. Following a short tour of Port of Spain, during which
you will see the architectural diversity and historical monuments, you will view a
"local floor show" which will include Calypso and Steelband, Limbo and Indian
dance. Complimentary local beverage served before the show.
CITY AND RUM DISTILLERY
3 ½ hours
Minimum: 6 pax / Maximum: 20 pax
Departure times: 9:00 am and every hour thereafter up to 2:00 pm
Following a brief tour of Port of Spain you will arrive at the House of Angostura. This
is the home of Trinidad's foremost rum producers. A guided tour of this distillery takes
you through the various stages of the manufacturing processes of two of the Caribbean's
finest brands of rum - Fernandes and Old Oak. Of course our own world famous Angostura
Bitters is also manufactured here. The ingredients in the process are a well- guarded
secret. At the end of the tour enjoy a sample of the varied blends and rum products
produced by the distillery.
(This tour has a maximum participation of 20 pax at any time due to the type of tour.
However we can offer this tour on a staggered basis during the day to allow maximum
participation.)
LIL BIT OF TRINIDAD & PANYARD TOUR
(This tour gives you an overview of the scenic and cultural elements of Trinidad)

The tour will begin with a drive eastwards out of via the scenic Lady Young Road and
then along the Eastern Main Road passing many of the small villages and town which have
merged to form "ribbon-development" along the foothills of the island's northern
range. Enter the Santa Cruz valley - home of lush vegetation and agricultural holdings.
Then traverse one of the most beautiful areas in Trinidad through picturesque mountain
scenery over the "saddle" of the island's Northern Range to Maracas Bay, a
favourite and delightful beach. Return to Port of Spain via the Maraval valley -
predominantly residential and commercial district. Then stop at the Silver Stars Panyard -
one of Trinidad's oldest steelbands where you will receive an introduction to steelband
and its history. This is definitely a unique experience and an opportunity to listen to
the steelband in its home - a panyard! Enjoy the sweet sound of pan, Trinidad's
contribution to music ... the only musical instrument invented this century ... like a

NORTHWESTERN HIGHLIGHTS

This tour gives you a brief overview of the diversity of the Northwestern Peninsula of
Trinidad. Visit the historic Waterwheel in Diego Martin Valley, a monument to the old
sugar days when sugar estates ran the country and massive waterwheels supplied the energy.
This wheel, at the far end of the scenic Diego Martin valley, is part of a restored estate
house and museum. Then on to the Chaguaramas peninsula, for a stop at the Chaguaramas
Military History and Aviation Museum, which is a must for anyone interested in military
and aviation history. This is the Caribbean's only military history museum - a labour of
love it covers centuries of military action on land, sea and air. Chaguaramas was a former
US Naval Base during the Second World War. Several of the old buildings still remain.
There are grand developmental plans for the area which offers yachting facilities, a golf
course, convention centre and numerous nature trails. You will see some of the foremost
residential areas in Trinidad during this tour.
CITY & MT. ST. BENEDICT TOUR
4 Hours
Minimum: 4 Pax Maximum: 40 Pax
Departure times: 9:00 am and 1:00 pm
The tour commences with a drive around the capital of Port of Spain and passes all the
main points of interest; including the Houses of Parliament, Queen's Park Savannah and the
Magnificent Seven, Botanical Gardens and President's House. They you will traverse the
Lady Young Road with a brief stop at the "lookout" for a panoramic view of the
city of Port of Spain and the Gulf of Paria. On a clear day you can even see the
Venezualan mainland. Your will continue eastwards via Churchill Roosevelt
Highway to St. Augustine - where evidence of Trinidad's agricultural, commercial
and residential activities can be seen. At St. Augustine you will 'climb' the
northern range to Mt. St. Benedict, the oldest Benedictine monastery in the
Caribbean, which lies on the southern slopes of the northern range, some 800 ft
above St. Augustine. Here you will see spectacular views of the islands central
plains and have an opportunity to walk through the monastery and its gardens, as
well as the on-site apiary. Refreshments (drink, snack included) will be served
here. Return to Port of Spain for return to the ship.
